If you have already collected web pages and files, and organized them in folders in a meaningful structure, you can build a new 3D Topicscape directly from these folders. Choose "Import" from the file menu and select the topmost folder.

Alternatively you can add them to an existing Topicscape. This is done with a drag of the topmost folder in the structure and a drop on the topic that you want to make the parent.

In both cases, you will see the nested structures of folders within folders spread out before you in the 3D landscape. All the files in those folders will be in the Topic Center for each topic.

You can then plan additional research, add new empty folders, add or change associations and use your ability to fly round the 3D environment as a stimulus to adding to the 3D mind map that you have built.
